Snipp.gg respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content hosted on the Platform infringes your rights, please follow the process below. We may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material and, where appropriate, suspend repeat infringers.

How to File a Takedown Notice

Send an email to [email protected] including:

  • Your name and contact email.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
  • The exact URL(s) on Snipp.gg where the infringing material appears.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act for the rights owner.
  • Your electronic signature (typing your full legal name is acceptable by email).

Counter-Notice

If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, email a counter-notice to [email protected] including:

  • Your name and contact email.
  • Identification of the material that was removed and the URL where it appeared before removal.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
  • Your consent to receive further communication regarding the matter.
  • Your electronic signature (typing your full legal name is acceptable by email).

Repeat Infringers

Accounts of users who repeatedly infringe may be suspended or terminated.

What Happens After a Notice

  • We review the notice for completeness.
  • We may remove or disable access to the reported material.
  • We notify the uploader (when possible) and may share the notice with them.
  • If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the content unless the complainant informs us of legal action.

Misrepresentation

Submitting false or bad-faith notices or counter-notices may have legal consequences. Only submit a notice if you are certain your claim is valid.
