Badges are small icons shown next to your name across Snipp. Some recognize what you've contributed, others reflect your account status. Here's every badge, what it means, and how to get it.
The Verified badge marks notable accounts and confirms an identity is genuine. It is granted by the Snipp team, typically to public figures, brands, and creators with an established presence. It cannot be requested directly, though an active and authentic profile helps.

Snipp
The Subscriber badge shows you support Snipp with an active PLUS subscription. It appears for as long as your subscription is active and unlocks a golden ring around your avatar. Upgrade on the pricing page to earn it.

Plus User
The Bug Hunter badge is awarded for your first valid security report through our bug bounty program. It recognizes researchers who responsibly disclose vulnerabilities and help keep Snipp safe.

Bug Hunter
The Elite Bug Hunter badge is reserved for our most impactful researchers. It is awarded after 3-5 exceptional reports or a single critical finding, and replaces the Bug Hunter badge once earned.

Elite Hunter
The Translator badge is awarded for meaningful contributions to Snipp's translations. Help translate the app into your language to earn it, along with the Translator role in our Discord server.

The Early Supporter badge is a permanent thank-you for everyone who joined Snipp in its first months. It was granted automatically to accounts created during the launch window and can no longer be earned.

Early Bird
The Partner badge marks creators and communities in an official partnership with Snipp. It is granted by the Snipp team as part of a partnership agreement and cannot be requested directly.

The Snipp Staff badge identifies members of the Snipp team. It helps you recognize official accounts when receiving support, and cannot be earned. Staff have no access to your account or gallery, and will never ask you for your password or login codes.

Snipp Staff
Badges show automatically next to your name on your profile and wherever your account appears across Snipp, including profile popouts. There is nothing to enable, a badge appears as soon as you earn it. Badges cannot be hidden or removed on request.
