Snipp caps how much you can upload in any rolling 7-day window. This keeps service fast for everyone and prevents abuse, while still leaving plenty of room for normal use.
Free: 2 GB total uploads per rolling 7 days, with a 50 MB cap per file.
PLUS: 50 GB per rolling 7 days, with a 5 GB cap per file. That's 25x the free weekly allowance.
Enterprise: 100 GB per rolling 7 days, with a 10 GB cap per file. Contact us for higher limits.
Your quota is calculated over the last 7 days from right now, not a fixed Monday-to-Sunday week. There's no single reset day.
As an upload ages past 7 days, its size automatically frees up. Quota recovers continuously throughout the week.
Example: if you upload 1 GB on Monday and 500 MB on Wednesday, that 1 GB stops counting next Monday, freeing up headroom even though the 500 MB is still inside the window.
Every successful upload counts: website, API, ShareX, and XerahS. Public, unlisted, and private posts all count the same.
Albums count as the sum of their files. A 5-file album of 200 MB each uses 1 GB of quota.
Failed or rejected uploads (rate-limited, virus-flagged, moderated) do not consume quota.
Deleting a post does not refund its quota. The window only releases bytes by aging out, not by deletion.
When you're out of quota, new uploads return a "Weekly usage limit exceeded" error with the timestamp when your next chunk frees up.
Check your live usage and the countdown to your next refill from account settings.
Upgrading to PLUS applies your higher quota immediately, including the existing usage you've already accumulated.
