Snipp caps how much you can upload in any 7-day window. This keeps service fast for everyone and prevents abuse, while still leaving plenty of room for normal use.
Free: 2 GB total uploads per week, with a 50 MB cap per file.
PLUS: 20 GB per week, no per-file cap. That's 10x the free weekly allowance, and a single upload can fill the whole quota.
Enterprise: 50 GB per week, no per-file cap. Contact us for higher limits.
Your 7-day window starts the moment you first upload after a reset, not on a fixed Monday-to-Sunday week. There's no shared reset day.
Once 7 days pass from the start of your window, your entire quota resets to zero at once and a fresh window begins on your next upload.
Example: if your window started on Monday, your full quota is restored the following Monday, no matter when during the week you used it.
Every successful upload counts: website, API, ShareX, and XerahS. Public, unlisted, and private posts all count the same.
Albums count as the sum of their files. A 5-file album of 200 MB each uses 1 GB of quota.
Failed or rejected uploads (rate-limited, virus-flagged, moderated) do not consume quota.
Deleting a post does not refund its quota. The window only releases bytes by aging out, not by deletion.
When you're out of quota, new uploads return a "Weekly usage limit exceeded" error with the timestamp when your next chunk frees up.
Check your live usage and the countdown to your next refill from billing settings.
Upgrading to PLUS applies your higher quota immediately, including the existing usage you've already accumulated.
